We have a position available for a motivated 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year carpentry apprentice to join a small intimate team. Perfect for someone wanting to transfer their existing apprenticeship over for a fresh start. We are based in Skye, but work in Peninsula, Bayside, South East and out to Eastern suburbs. Mainly, Clyde, Cranbourne and close surrounds

We work mainly locally, Good fun team to work with and growing. Family run and owned business. Very satisfying quality work achieved.

The right person for the job, hard working, communicates well, wants to learn, eager. Would consider new fresh apprentice, Someone with experience, someone transitioning from apprenticeship to another or a mature aged apprentice.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking.ÌýÌý

To be successful you will need to have the following:Ìý

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding workÌý
  • Be reliable and punctualÌý
  • Very keen to learnÌý
  • Have a basic knowledge of hand toolsÌý
  • Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentryÌý
  • Ability to get to and from work independentlyÌý

Preferred and essential:Ìý

  • Driver licence & Own carÌý
  • A white cardÌý
  • Basic knowledge of hand toolsÌý
  • Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentryÌý
  • Physically fit and capableÌý
  • PracticalÌýwork vehicle to carry materials and help other employees with work requirements. This willÌýbe a requirement when signed on as an apprentice. Not within the trial period
  • Own basic tools to start and in short time more tools will be required.
  • After trial period is over a practical vehicle will be required to tow and carry longer materials.
