Mechanical Fitter Apprentice Opportunity
Join Australia's leading waste management company in Narangba, Queensland, and launch your career as a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic industry, gaining hands on experience all whilst completing a Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and fault-finding of fixed plant equipment in the workshop.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates at peak performance.
- Support the repair of machinery using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
- A demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a strong willingness to learn.
- A proactive and motivated individual with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Specific skills such as attention to detail, a safety-focused mindset, and strong verbal communication.
- Holds a current drivers license with a P Plate minimum
