This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in (under the supervision of Tree Maintenance Officers):
- Implement of tree pruning and/or tree removal works
- Assistance in providing support to Tree Maintenance Team Members
- Implement the Tree Planting Program in accordance with Council's Street and Reserve Tree Policy
- Improvement of service, reviewing work practices, procedures and purchase of equipment
- Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights, with a focus on safety
- Interest in horticulture and Mechanical minded
- A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, (white card - preferred, but not essential)
- Personalised one-on-one mentoring throughout your training to ensure your success
- A nationally recognised qualification
